Certified Nursery and Landscape Professionals
A Certified Nursery & Landscape Professional (CNLP) is an individual who has demonstrated a high level of competence in the principles and practices of the green industry.
To earn the CNLP designation an individual must have graduated from a recognized 2 – or 4-year college with a degree in a horticultural field and have at least one year of related work experience OR be an individual who has completed three years of industry work experience. Individuals must also complete a New York State monitored certification exam and maintain 10 or more hours of educational credits per year.
Because of their dedication to the industry, CNLP’s have attained a high level of recognition by both the gardening public and the entire green industry.
